Optimism is the Foundation of Courage at Gosaba

A day of foundation day celebration was organized in solar Enlighten and community Empowerment project on 23rd of June 2017 at Janargheri-1. Around 70 parents and 40 students participated in the celebration. The celebration was started with prayer song and prayer dance by the children followed by welcome speech and introduction by field in charge.

After the introduction was over coordinator gave the details of Loreto and KMWSC its origin and present status. Everyone was overwhelmed to hear the history of Loreto and KMWSC.

The children performed dance and action songs which they have learnt in the centre. The parents were given details of solar project, its aim, objective, activities and achievements. The vote of thanks was given by Debabrata Mondal. Followed by special snacks for parents and children who were very happy to receive snacks in the centre. The teachers were given special lunch on the occasion.

All teachers, parents and children were happy today to witness the foundation day celebration first time in the centre. All the parents had brought solar lamps along with them and lit them together to honour Saint Mary Ward. After the Tiffin everyone went back happily to their families with smiling faces.
