We are delighted to share the remarkable journey of Sr. Monica Suchiang, the esteemed Director/Secretary of Kolkata Mary Ward Social Centre, who recently participated in the prestigious International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) in the USA.

Expressing her heartfelt gratitude to the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Embassy in Kolkata for extending this invaluable invitation, Sr. Monica embarked on a transformative three-week journey from March 3rd to March 23rd, 2024.

The IVLP served as a platform for NGO leaders from 22 countries to delve into the intricacies of NGO management, emphasizing the pivotal role of the non-profit sector in shaping educated and engaged civil societies, which are the bedrock of democracy.

Through a meticulously curated itinerary comprising workshops, talks, events, and cultural immersion activities, Sr. Monica and her fellow participants gleaned insights into the dynamic landscape of NGO leadership in the United States.
