To help Domestic help in Households of well-to-do families, Kolkata Mary Ward Social Centre and Save the Children partner identified Child Domestic Workers through extensive surveys and are providing them with education and recreation through 8 Multiple Activity Centres at Ward no 1,6,12,13,14 of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation , one ward of Baranagar Municipality, and wo wards of Kamarhati Municipality.
Hidden Domestic Child Labour Team of KMWSC has organised 3 Orientation Programmess with the Police Force at Alambazar, Cossipore and Chitpur PS. Total number of participants were 59. In that programme, discussion were made about Child Protection issues and details were given about the HDCL project.The participants assured that they will give support to the organization whenever required.
