   Transforming The Lives of Underprivileged Kids Using Sports

 

KMWSC always had  helped marginalized children reach their true potential with the help of sports. KMWSC has been using sports as a medium in empowering underprivileged children and improving their life prospects, besides imparting life skills to them and reviving traditional sports on the brink of extinction.

KMWSC has organized sports on the occasion of Christmas for children at Sonapota under Lotus Child project. Children and women participated in sports. KMWSC provided gifts and prize to all the participants.

 Sports have been used  as a platform to help children from disadvantaged backgrounds to grow into responsible and contributing members of the society. Sports programme has taught children discipline, confidence, team-work, patience, tolerance, etc. which are essential components of life skills.
