Sensitization on health & hygiene and free health check up camp

KMWSC conducted 2 health & awareness programs under Brick Field School Project at Kalyani on 12/04/2018. The topic of the awareness programme was Health & Hygiene, cleanliness. They were oriented on how to maintain hygiene and protect themselves from hazardous diseases by following simple health and hygiene measures and cleanliness. There were total 127 patients who received free health check up and medicines. The doctor was hired from medical clinic who came along with his assistant in brick field centres. The doctor also gave suggestions to the patients how to keep themselves healthy and protect themselves from common sicknesses. Majority of the Patients were diagnosed with common sicknesses like Weakness, dehydration, lack of Vitamins, Body pain, headache & stomach problems. This periodical health check up initiatives ensures the healthy measures for the migrant families and their children. As they are time bound for their labor production of bricks they cannot afford to go to hospitals and stick to their brick production neglecting their health factors. This effort and initiative brings lots of hope to the underprivileged families and children to ensure a healthy life.
