Where There is a Will, There is a Way
Manisha Sardar is a 4 year old girl with physical disability. She came along with her parents from Jharkhand to Minakhan Brickfield for work. Her parents works in the Brick Fields of Minakhan. Unlike other children of her age, Manisha could not stand straight since birth. First her parents were not willing to send manisha to school, but after KMWSC intervention they agreed. Presently Manisha is attending Brickfield school at Minakhan.Her guardians are very supportive now & regularly sending Manisha to school.
Manisha is a charming girl. She has never let her disability hold her back. Manisha decided not to be dictated by her fate but to live life on her terms. She participated in the Sports Program which was organized in the month of May, 2015. Manisha won the second prize in “Ball in the Bucket” competition where the number of competitors were 27. She not only won the second prize, but she was able to win our hearts also. She really enjoyed the interaction between herself and the children through the game. She is a true inspiration for all of us.
