The second phase of the Surokshit Shaisav Project (Child Rights Project) was launched at the Town Hall in Basirhat on 30th March 2023. The B.D.O. of Basirhat-I Block, CWC Members of North 24 Parganas District, 2nd officer of Basirhat Police Station, S.I. of Ghojadanga BFS Camp, representatives of 3 Panchayets and St. Monica Suchiang – Director of KMWSC were present at the occasion.
Representatives of Caritas India, Child Club Members and the Mothers’ Group also joined the programme.
In a symbolic gesture, the programme commenced with nurturing small saplings by all stakeholders, followed by cutting the ribbon. Members of the Children Group performed a play and a theme dance based on child abuses and cyber safety issues.
We look forward to moral support and prayers from our well-wishers for the success of this 2nd phase of the Surakshit Saisav Project.
