Ananya Chakraborti, Honb’le Chairperson of West Bengal Commission for Protection of Child Rights(WBCPCR) felicitated Ms. Laxmi Biswas from Canning, South 24 parganas with the Bravery award 2020, Birangana title on the occasion of International Child Rights Day at Rabindra Sadan, Kolkata. KMWSC very own brave and courageous girl Laxmi Biswas from the intervention area (Canning I) under Anti- Human Trafficking Project has been nominated for the said award. Laxmi is a shining example of Kolkata Mary Ward Social Centre who received this prestigious award for stopping a child marriage in the region of Canning, South 24 paragnas.
