Members of the staff and students of Skill Development Unit observed the World Day against Trafficking in Person 2023 at the office premises of Kolkata Mary Ward Social Centre. The program was graced by Sr. Monica Suchiang, the Director/Secretary of the Organisation. Speaking to the students, the Director explained the relevance of the day. A short video on testimonials of a few survivors of human trafficking was shown. Three members of the staff presented a dance performance. The students and staff joined in a silent protest holding posters carrying messages against human trafficking. They also released balloons carrying messages to stop human trafficking. At the end, each participant took the pledge to stop human trafficking.
