The dedicated Brick-field Education Programme team completed their second phase of Nawada Intervention. A dedicated team of three from Kolkata Mary Ward Social Centre spent a few days in various blocks in Nawada to mainstream the children in various schools and Kasturba Gandhi Home in Nawada.
The team braved the torrential rain and traversed 4 Blocks. They visited 5 villages. This time the team effort added a different dimension to this intervention. 86 children were admitted in Government Primary school. We thank all the staff and teachers for their cooperation. About 39 children were admitted in ICDS. Besides this the team could successfully admit 1 child in KG Home.
