Over the past 2 weeks we have been given the opportunity to immense ourselves in Indian life and Culture . We have been educated on many Different Programmes run by the Mary Ward Social Centre including the Brick Field and Anti Trafficking Centre , Loreto Schools and Rainbow Homes . We have come from Loreto St Stephens Green in Ireland and have come to gain more knowledge about the Mary Ward Work and to get a first hand experience on the running of them .I have been amazed by the Work she has done and the work followed on by volunteers. I am so blessed to have experience all of this throughout the past 2 weeks and have been touched by the amazing people who work so hard to make a change in peoples life for better .

‘My time in KMWSC has been a beautiful moment to share with commitment people. I feel so proud to belong to this big family, who are working hard to be the change they want to see in the world.
Definitely, as Mary Ward said, “In the future women will do much” and we are now in that future where women are working to improve their quality of life.
It’s amazing the amount of resources offered by KMWSC, available to develop different women skills, where they can feel not only useful but also being more autonomous.
Thank you so much for receiving me once more.’
‘‘ During my visits, I could realise that only possessions don’t make a person happy. Everyone I met was truly happy and so proud of what little they had. From a 2-year-old to 20-year-old person, everyone looked out for each other. Even though there was a language barrier with the children but I never felt it may be that is why it is said Happiness is a universal language. I have gained so much confidence interacting with the children of the KMWSC project areas that I have learned to embrace life with two hands never to give up on my dreams and work hard for each other.’’
‘‘I found the orientation very helpful. I liked hearing an overview of all the amazing work the KMWSC is doing over the years. I have gained a look. I learn a great deal from the children of all the project area visited. I saw firsthand why this city is known as the city of joy. No matter what the situation the children are as they always had a smile on their face.’’
‘‘I really enjoyed every minute of this trip, If only I had even more time with the children of the Multi-Activity Centre (MAC) and Brickfield Schools. I have gained a greater understanding of the Indian Culture, people and strength. It was fun and interesting teaching the kids rhymes and poem but truly speaking I have learned more from them than I was able to give back. Everyone I met has made an every lasting impact on me they were so determined to help others.’’
