KMWSC in collaboration with CHILDLINE has started awareness programme at MAC areas on Child Protection issues and Child rights. During the month of June 2018, two awareness campaigns were organised at Muraripukur (ward – 32) of Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) and Braranagar (ward – 1) of Baranagar municipality. Total 59 children participated in the awareness and sensitization campaigns. Information regarding missing child number, safe zone, child marriage etc was discussed in the groups. They were also told whom to inform and how to inform if something mishap happens in their locality relating violation of child rights.
KMWSC thanks Childeline for being with us in our endeavors to reach out to these vulnerable potential children to build a better awareness.
