KMWSC organized three days barefoot teachers training in Canning 1 block, South 24 parganas, West Bengal from 19th to 21st April 2018 under Barefoot Teachers’ Training Project. There were 32 participants female-24, male-8 from very grass root communities of Canning. They were given level-1 training in joyful teaching learning methods, child centric and activity based. Policies and modules have been changed rigorously to impart the knowledge in the young minds with the passage of times across the globe. KMWSC has upgraded its modules and syllabus with the recent update. By keeping in the mind the objective of the project to reach out to the needy ones whose dreams remain dreams to become qualified teachers KMWSC reaches out to the identified groups who cannot afford for teachers training. This is also a direct empowerment of women at grass root areas and communities who intern educate thousands of children in remotest areas of West Bengal. This was the fruitful training in Canning in fact they have asked for the level-2 training.
