The season of joy began early at Kolkata Mary Ward Social Centre (KMWSC) with the much-awaited Cake Mixing Ceremony, held on 10th November 2025 at the KMWSC premises. This cherished annual tradition marks the delightful beginning of Christmas preparations — a time of gratitude, togetherness, and festive anticipation.
Secretary of KMWSC, Sr. Monica Rozario, along with staff and team members of KMWSC, brimming with enthusiasm, came together to mix an aromatic blend of dry fruits, nuts, and spices — all soaked in wine and love — symbolizing hope and unity. The vibrant colours and cheerful laughter filled the air as everyone participated in this age-old ritual that celebrates the sweetness of giving and the joy of togetherness.
The event also served as a moment of reflection, reminding everyone that Christmas is not just about festivity, but about sharing happiness, spreading kindness, and embracing the spirit of compassion that KMWSC upholds throughout the year.
As the mixed fruits rest and mature in preparation for the baking of delicious Christmas cakes, the aroma of the season has already begun to fill the hearts of all who were present.
With this joyful beginning, KMWSC warmly invites all well-wishers, partners, and friends to join in the upcoming Christmas celebrations and share in the message of love, peace, and harmony
“The season of sweetness begins — let’s mix joy, love, and gratitude into everything we do!”
