Pathan Khali and Sambhupur are two Gram Panchyats, in the Gosaba GP, Sundarban (village communities) are human habitat islands overlooking the forest buffering area where KMWSC is working for lighting villages through Solar Lamps and Rural community Development. During this lockdown situation where the community and village people cannot go out of their villages to earn their livelihood. The community people are suffering due to this as they don’t have any earnings and are very poor. KMWSC is providing them with Covid 19 relief packets. Today the solar team distributed food relief kits to 50 poor families of 3 villages, in Gosaba Block, south 24 pgs, Sundarban. The ration kits included : rice-10 kgs, dal ( lentils)- 2 kgs, potatoes: 3 kgs, cooking oil- 1 ltr packet, salt-1kg packet, onion- 2kgs, soap-2 pieces and Soya chunks- 1 packet as per the need and family members of the houses.
