On 14th September 2024, a Community Awareness Programme was held at Manmathanagar in Gosaba, Sundarban under the Solar Enlighten and Community Awareness Project. The event focused on raising awareness about the dangers of child marriage and providing updates on village development initiatives. In addition, the programme highlighted the ongoing effort to promote the use of solar light, a crucial step toward improving the quality of life in the community by providing sustainable energy solutions. The event brought together community members, empowering them with knowledge and tools to address pressing social issues and promote a brighter, safer future for all. This initiative is part of KMWSC's continued efforts to foster education, awareness, and sustainable development in the Sundarbans region.
