Short visit to Project site by the funder

  Miss. Maria the director of Mary Ward International Spain and the director of KMWSC visited Lodha community on 28^th November 2017 along with Coordinator. This was the first visit of the funder to the project site at Ganga Sagar. The journey started with a hired car till Kagdwip and from Kagdwip it was boat journey to Kochuberia. Tata sumo was arranged to reach to Gangasagar from Kochuberia. It took 7 hours to reach Ganga sagar Lodge. After resting for few hours Maria and the director of KMWSC moved to the project site in the evening to observe the evening chores of Lodha Community people. It was hard realities of life which these people have been living beyond the imaginations. In the morning the children of the centre welcomed Miss. Maria and the Director of KMWSC with flower bouquet and garland. The children song action song for Maria. It was impressive activities with the children. Maria interacted with children she checked their drawings. Once again Maria visited Lodha Community after visiting the centre. During day time she could meet and interact with more people of the community. It was also the best time to meet every one. Many parents took her to their houses and showed the chicken and ducks given by KMWSC.   The funder was impressed by the living style of the Lodha community people, a life beyond imagination. A real struggle for survival. She said these lives are valuable and important to us like other lives.
