On 7th October 2024, a school awareness program was conducted at Koijhuri High School under the Anti Human Trafficking Project in Basirhat. The event aimed to educate students about the dangers of human trafficking, particularly in border areas. Representatives from the Anti Human Trafficking Unit of the Border Security Force (BSF) were present at the program and shared insights into the cross-border human trafficking challenges faced in the region. The session emphasised the importance of awareness and vigilance in combating these issues, encouraging students to be informed and proactive in their communities. This initiative is part of KMWSC's ongoing efforts to address and prevent human trafficking in vulnerable areas through education and community engagement.
