Red Light Project – Rakhi Celebration

Under Red-light Project, Kolkata Mary Ward Social centre has celebrated Rakhi at Sonagachi MAC centre along with Children and teachers of the centre. Total 70 children were participated in the program.
We are known that the festival Rakhsabandhan, celebrates the love of a brother for his sister. It is a very significant celebration for the children of Sonagachi. All girls of the centre tie the rakhi on the wrists of the boys of centre. The children were very happy to participate in the Rakhi celebration.
The celebration was conducted keeping in my social distancing and Covid-19 protocol.
