In collaboration with NUJS, KMWSC had organised a training on Legal Aids. There were 40 participants from different projects along with our staff members. The topics discussed were very helpful and it included - the purpose of trafficking, difference between commercial and sexual exploitation, importance of laws and constitution,Special Act, JJ Act, JJB Act, POCSO, Child marriage Act, difference between GDE and FIR, How to complaint and approach Police in case of any crimes like rapes, missing case, murder, etc., difference between Civil and Criminal Case, Free Girl Movement, introduction to School for Justice, How trauma and Justice work, Domestic violence, etc. There was a group based discussion also on how to write complaints on different offence.
