On 12th August 2024, the mothers from remote villages gathered under the Child Rights Project of KMWSC at Basirhat to discuss critical child protection issues affecting their communities. This meeting was a significant step towards empowering mothers to take proactive roles in safeguarding the children in their villages. During the discussion, the mothers collectively identified the key challenges and risks faced by children in their areas. Together, they developed an action plan to address these protection issues, focusing on prevention strategies and community engagement. This initiative not only heightened awareness of child protection among the mothers but also fostered a strong sense of responsibility and unity in working towards a safer environment for their children. The event highlights KMWSC's commitment to community-driven approaches in ensuring the well-being and safety of children in the region.
