During our food distribution camps KMWSC realised that a large number of children and infants in the families belonging to the migrant workers from Pujali BFS needed special nutrition as they were not getting milk amidst this crisis of pandemic situation and lockdown. With several losing their daily wages, families are also not in a position to buy milk or nutritional supplement for their children. Today under our BFS project the coordinator along with BFS team visited Pujali BFS and provided 256 litres of milk packets, 98 baby food Cerelac packets, 87 junior horlicks packets and 49 women horlicks packets to 98 babies from the age group of 0 to 1 year, 87 toddlers from the age group of 1 year to 2 years and 49 young women and lactating mothers from the age group of 19 years to 25 years.
