On 30th October 2024, a monthly meeting was conducted with mothers, adolescents and children at Hastings as part of the IDENTITY Project, focusing on the importance of nutrition and a healthy diet. The session aimed to educate the mothers and the young participants on the essentials of balanced nutrition, food choices, and meal planning to promote lifelong healthy habits. Through interactive discussions, the mothers, adolescents and children gained valuable insights into how proper nutrition impacts their growth, mental focus, and overall well-being. This meeting served as a foundation to empower them with the knowledge to make informed dietary choices, ultimately supporting their physical health and cognitive development. This initiative is part of KMWSC’s ongoing commitment to enhancing community health and youth development.
