Massive relief operation in Basirhat along with relief materials to 210 beneficiaries in collaboration with Indigio Airlines

Kolkata Mary Ward Social Centre is committed to stand by its beneficiaries at every hour. This commitment drove the Organisation to launch a massive relief operation for the beneficiaries from Basirhat. A team of relief workers left for the Basirhat along with relief materials at the early hours of Friday the 26th, June 2020 to distribute relief kits to 210 beneficiaries.The team was led by KMWSC disaster relief for the relief work at Basirhat and was divided into two teams, namely Group-A and Group- B. Group A reindered its services to the villages of Itinda, Mukundokati, Prasunokati, Paikerdanga, Kolkapata, Banaibou, Gacha, Akharpur, Merudandi and Kamardanga. Group B focused on the villages like Ghozadanga/ Panitore, Sangrampur, Parnaihati and Amarkati. The relief materials included Utensils, assorted clothes, Tarpaulin sheets, blankets, Satoo packets, Candles, biscuit packets, clothes packs, health nutritional food donated by Indigo Airlines, plastic jug, mosquito coils, buckets, water bottles, match boxes, etc.
