On 19/5/20 KMWSC distributed food to a total of twenty villages (total of 341 families, including Basirhat distribution to 187 families on 30th of May)in the three gram panchayats at places - Sangrampur,Akharpur,Panitor,Ghojadanga ,Nakuadaha,Itinda,Kholardangi. During this lockdown time, it became very difficult for the common man to get three meals a day. In this context, KMWSC extended a helping hand to the people of these villages in collaboration with Jagori Rural, One Billion Rising- India. KMWSC team distributed food items to 154 families in 7 villages.The relief packets contained rice - 3 kgs, potatoes - 2 kgs,soap - 1 pis, Soyabean chunks - 1pkt, salt -1 pkt , Ricepuff - 1pkt , Turmeric powder -1pkt ,Jeera pawder - 1 pkt,Chili powder - 1 pkt,.The villagers have benefited a lot from this food relief camp. The villagers and the Adolescents boys & girls thanked KMWSC for their continuous support.
