Interaction and Sharing Meet at Sangrampur Shibati Gram Panchayat

On 25th July 2024, an Interaction and Sharing Meet was held at the Sangrampur Shibati Gram Panchayat conference hall, Basirhat-1, under the Surokhit Shaishav Project of KMWSC. This collaborative event brought together representatives from the Sub-Divisional District Legal Service Authority (S-DLSA), Panchayat members, and ICDS workers of North 24 Parganas. Mr. Zakir Hussain, the Secretary of S-DLSA, was a key speaker at the event. He shared valuable information about the legal services and schemes available in the district, emphasizing that these services are provided free of cost to the villagers. His insights aimed to empower the community with knowledge about their legal rights and the resources available to them. The meet facilitated productive discussions and interactions, fostering a sense of community and collaboration among the attendees. It also highlighted the importance of accessible legal services in protecting the rights and well-being of the villagers.
