On October 31, 2024, a free eye check-up camp was organised at Diamond Harbour under the Human Rights Project, in collaboration with Vision RX Lab, one of the largest ophthalmic Lens manufacturers of Asia. This collaborative initiative aimed to provide essential eye care services to less fortunate villagers who often lack access to regular health facilities. The camp offered comprehensive eye screenings, identifying vision issues early to prevent further complications. Such efforts are vital in underserved communities, where untreated vision problems can significantly impact daily life, education, and economic well-being. The identified patients, suffering from refractive errors will be provided free spectacles. This camp reflects KMWSC’s commitment to improving community health and ensuring equitable access to healthcare services for all.
