On 18th July 2024, KMWSC had the distinct honour of hosting Smt. Tulika Das, the esteemed Chairperson of the West Bengal Commission for Protection of Child Rights (WBCPCR). Smt. Das visited our office to meet with Secretary Sr. Monica Suchiang, Director Sr. Biviyana Lepcha, and our dedicated staff members. The purpose of her visit was to acknowledge and appreciate the significant work KMWSC has been doing with children. During her hour-long stay, Smt. Das engaged in a productive discussion on various critical issues related to ensuring the rights of children. Her insights and guidance were invaluable, reinforcing our commitment to our mission. Smt. Das graciously offered her support and availability for any necessary assistance in our efforts to protect and promote the rights of children. We are deeply grateful for her visit and the encouragement she has provided. It was truly an honour to have her among us. KMWSC remains dedicated to advancing the welfare and rights of children, and we look forward to continued collaboration with WBCPCR and other stakeholders in this noble cause.
