World Day Against Child Labour was celebrated by members of the Children Clubs in Basirhat under Child Rights Project of KMWSC on 12th June 2021. Several children participated in the drawing competition having theme as “ Stop Child Labour and Child Marriage “. Wall paintings were also done in Panchayat areas to raise awareness against Child Labour and Child Marriage. At some places the children put up dramas composed by themselves. Some children also recited poems. The children also undertook a campaign against Child Labour at the local markets. All performances and other activities were conducted within the jurisdiction of the Children Clubs strictly maintaining social distance and other COVID-19 protocols.
