The IDENTITY Project organised the much-needed two free health check-up camps for the vulnerable communities of Hastings and Motijheel in Kolkata, ensuring access to primary healthcare for those who need it most. A total of 200 patients were screened during the camp, receiving careful attention, medical guidance, and compassionate support.
The camp focused on addressing seasonal ailments, detecting early signs of health risks, and offering preventive care — especially for families who often face barriers to accessing regular medical services. Each beneficiary also received free prescribed medicines, helping them continue necessary treatment without financial burden.
Community members came forward in large numbers, reflecting the growing trust in KMWSC’s health interventions and the project’s commitment to wellbeing. The medical team ensured smooth facilitation, patient-friendly services, and proper follow-up advice to help individuals adopt healthier practices at home.
Through the IDENTITY project, KMWSC remains dedicated to strengthening community health by bringing essential services closer to those who need them, one camp at a time.
