KMWSC have identified 25 sex workers and their families who were at the risk of starvation at the end of lockdown. On 27th of March, Kolkata Mary Ward Social Centre's team distributed over 6 kilograms of rice, 3 kilograms of Pulses ( Dal) and 1 kilogram packet of salt to each 25 sex workers and their families in Sonagachi. The food items not only supported them but also their families which includes their children. The food was distributed keeping in mind the socal distancing and all government protocols.
