With the Covid-19 pandemic situation, all work has come to a standstill. The migrant laborers are stuck at the brickfields and have no work or money and their families find themselves at the edge of starvation with Government orders to stay-in-place. KMWSC support these distressed migrant workers. Today BFS project coordinator along with BFS team provided ration packets as food relief to 280 migrants and their families from 5 BFS in Pujali. 5 kgs of rice, 2 kgs of lentils, 3 kgs of potatoes, 1 ltr of cooking oil, 250 gm packet of soyabean chunks, packets of 100 gm of each turmeric powder and red chilly powder, 1 kg packet of detergent powder, 4 pieces of soaps and mask was distributed to each family.
