CPO and Jay Prakash Institute staffs conducted FGD with Fathers, Mothers and children group in Gaccha Akharpur GP at village Chhoto Akharpur from Basirhat block 1, North 24 paragnas. Here discussion was made on child labour, the root causes of it, importance of education over child labour with all of them. This outreached almost 36 people and tried to change their outlook. They also attended KII in Itinda with Gram Panchayat Pradhan, secretary and PRI members to focus on the issues related to child labour, identify them in the area and whether VLCPC, VEC are functioning in the area or not.
