On 7th October 2024, a training program was conducted for farmers under the Climate Action and Biodiversity Project. The session focused on integrated model farming, organic farming practices for Kitchen Gardening, pollution control, and the establishment of a local seed bank. Farmers were provided with valuable insights into sustainable agricultural methods that promote environmental conservation and enhance crop productivity. The training also emphasized the importance of preserving local seed varieties through the creation of a community seed bank, ensuring access to resilient, high-quality seeds for future planting seasons. This initiative aims to equip farmers with the knowledge and tools needed to adopt eco-friendly practices, contributing to both environmental sustainability and improved livelihoods.
