KMWSC extends a heartfelt gratitude and thanks to GKB Lens Pvt Ltd. (GKB Opticals) for collaborating in their CSR activities. KMWSC conducts eye check up camp in collaboration with GKB, opticals as their CSR activities at MAC area of Cossipore, ward no.1 (KMC) under the project Empowering Vulnerable children on 22/03/2018. There were 77 (Female 41, Male 36) participants for the camp. GKB will provide spectacles to 38 beneficiaries free of cost after two months, 11 participants were identified with cataract operation and 2 of them were identified with major problems in the eyes. They were suggested to be kept in the observation. GKB, opticals has been implementing a project "Better Vision Program"as a measure of ‘GKB Opticals' Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity. This is indeed a collaborative approach of GKB with KMWSC to render services in marginalized communities. KMWSC looks ahead with possibilities of collaboration with GKB Lens Pvt Ltd. (GKB Opticals) in the grass root areas of all the projects.
