On 22nd November 2024, the Basirhat Learning Centre hosted a training session for the Mothers' Collective under the Surokhit Shaishav Project. The session focused on essential topics, including various forms of abuse, sexual abuse, the POCSO Act, and the vital role parents play in protecting their children. The program aimed to equip mothers with the knowledge and skills needed to identify, prevent, and respond to child protection concerns effectively. By fostering awareness, this initiative encouraged proactive measures to build a safe, nurturing environment for children and strengthened the collective effort to safeguard their well-being.
