On 14th April 2026, a Life Skills Training Workshop was conducted for adolescent boys and girls enrolled in Brickfield School centres at Pujali, Akra, and Kalyani. A total of 37 adolescents actively participated in the programme, engaging in sessions designed to strengthen their personal and social development.
The workshop focused on key areas essential for holistic growth, including emotional and mental health, communication and social skills, career and future planning, and safety and responsibility. Each session was designed to be interactive and reflective, encouraging adolescents to share their experiences, express their thoughts, and learn from one another.
Through guided discussions and activities, participants explored ways to manage emotions, build healthy relationships, and make informed decisions about their future. The sessions also highlighted the importance of self-awareness, confidence, and responsibility in navigating everyday challenges, especially in the context of their unique living and learning environments.
The initiative aimed not only to impart knowledge but also to nurture life competencies that empower adolescents to face challenges with resilience and clarity. By creating a safe and supportive space, the workshop enabled participants to develop a deeper understanding of themselves and their aspirations.
The enthusiastic participation of the adolescents reflected their eagerness to learn and grow. Such initiatives play a vital role in shaping confident, informed, and responsible young individuals who are better prepared to build a positive future for themselves and their communities.
