Lodha community is a backward tribal community that lives in one of the islands in Sundarban which is located near the confluence of Ganga and Bay of Bengal. Their basic source of income is by fishing and catching crabs. But as our country is now locked down under the influence of Covid 19 pandemic situation, their only way of earning income has affected their livelihood. During this tough time KMWSC stands with them. Today Lodha team distributed rice, dal, potato n 1 litre of cooking oil to 25 families from this community
