On 30th September 2024, 100 ducklings were distributed among 20 families as part of the family income generation program under the Climate Action and Biodiversity Project by KMWSC. This initiative aims to support marginalised families in enhancing their livelihoods through sustainable backyard poultry farming. The distribution of ducklings is designed to provide these families with a source of regular income while promoting environmentally friendly farming practices. This project reflects KMWSC's ongoing commitment to empowering communities through climate-resilient livelihood opportunities and biodiversity conservation.
