On 18th September 2024, the Director of KMWSC conducted a monitoring visit to the slum at New Alipore under the Kolkata Slums Project. Accompanied by the project team, the visit aimed to evaluate ongoing initiatives and engage with community members to understand their needs and the project's impact on improving living conditions. The visit focused on assessing the progress of various interventions, including health and education programs, ensuring that they are effectively addressing the challenges faced by the slum's residents. This visit reflects KMWSC’s commitment to the continuous improvement of the project and its dedication to uplifting marginalised communities in urban areas.
