KMWSC Child rights team in collaboration with Caritas India today distributed essential food relief kits to 150 poor families from Sangrampur , Gaccha Akharpur GP at Basirhat near Bangladesh border. The relief kits contained - 5kgs. of rice, 1kg of dal, 2 kgs. of potatoes, 2 soaps, 1 packet of soyabean chunks, ,salt packet of 1 kg ,1 packet of ricepuff , Detergent powder packet of 500 gms , half a litre packet of cooking oil and 10 pouches of shampoo. The villagers and the panchayat, upo prodhan & members thanked our organisation for standing beside the poor families at this hour of crisis. Mamuni Das, upo praadhan from Sangrampur GP thanked KMWSC for providing dry food ration packets to the poor families who have been benefited a lot from this food relief.
