Community Based Organisation(CBO) meetings were held in the villages of Gachha, Akharpur GP at Basirhat under Child rights project. An awareness session was conducted on child rights, child marriage, child labour, roles and responsibilities of the CBO towards the children, to identify relevant cases and accordingly refer to the police and village level child protection committee.
