On 24th September 2024, a Community Awareness Programme was held at Shambhunagar under the Climate Action and Biodiversity Project. The programme focused on promoting organic farming and kitchen gardening as sustainable practices for local communities. Participants were educated on the benefits of organic farming methods, emphasizing the importance of reducing chemical usage and cultivating healthy, nutrient-rich produce. The session also covered techniques for kitchen gardening, encouraging households to grow their own food, thereby enhancing food security and self-sufficiency. This initiative is part of KMWSC's broader commitment to fostering environmental sustainability and empowering communities with eco-friendly agricultural practices.
