The Child club members set up Child Protection Desks in Madhya Akharpur village of Basirhat block 1. The members assisted the passer-by villagers on information dissemination and reporting of child labour, missing, trafficked, abused child cases and shared helpline number. Through Childline, KMWSC will extend protection and legal aid to children arriving by train as potential victims of child labour besides helping find missing children.
