Celebrating Courage: Bravery Awards for Child Leaders of KMWSC Projects

  • 21 Nov 2024 -
  • Rabindra Sadan, Kolkata

On 21st November 2024, child leaders from KMWSC’s Red Light Project, Sahochori, and Human Rights Project were celebrated for their extraordinary courage and impactful contributions to social change. These remarkable young leaders were honoured with the prestigious Bravery Award by the West Bengal Commission for Protection of Child Rights (WBCPCR) in a grand ceremony held at Rabindra Sadan, Kolkata.   This recognition celebrates their resilience and commitment to addressing critical social issues, inspiring others to follow in their footsteps.   Kolkata Mary Ward Social Centre (KMWSC) extends heartfelt gratitude to WBCPCR for acknowledging the efforts of these young change-makers. We also express sincere thanks to our valued partners—the Louis Martin Zelie Foundation, Azim Premji Foundation, and Misean Cara—whose unwavering support has been vital in empowering and nurturing these children.   This honour not only amplifies the voices of these brave children but also reaffirms our collective commitment to building a safer, more equitable society for all.
