On 15th June 2024, Kolkata Mary Ward Social Centre (KMWSC) celebrated a milestone: a decade of unwavering dedication to serving the vulnerable in society. The 10th-anniversary celebration, themed "The Heart and the Hands," highlighted our commitment to helping migrant families, tribal communities, sex workers, slum dwellers, and at-risk adolescents. Since our founding in 2014, KMWSC has focused on a range of critical areas including Women & Child Protection, Education and Health, Community and Skill Development, and Pandemic & Disaster Management. Our efforts align with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs), ensuring that our work contributes to global progress as well as local impact. The anniversary event was graced by our dear friends and supporters from Ireland, Spain, and India, whose presence made the celebration truly special. We extend our deepest gratitude to Fr. Sacaria Joseph Shaju for conceptualising the theme and authoring the book, "The Heart and the Hand," which beautifully encapsulates our journey and mission. We are profoundly thankful to our donors worldwide, whose generosity has sustained our efforts over the past ten years. Your support has been instrumental in driving our initiatives forward, and we remain committed to upholding the values of compassion, love, freedom, and sincerity in all our endeavors. As we look to the future, KMWSC pledges to continue championing social justice and community support, building on a decade of impactful work. We are excited for the next chapter and the many lives we will touch along the way. Thank you for being part of our journey. Together, we can continue to make a difference.
