A capacity building training session was conducted on 7th December 2025 with the adolescent peer group members under the Sohochori Project at Sonagachi. The session aimed to strengthen awareness, leadership, and decision-making abilities among adolescents growing up in high-risk environments.
The training followed a participatory approach, encouraging the adolescents to reflect, discuss, and share their lived experiences. The core components of the session were designed to help young participants understand their rights, recognise unsafe situations, and make informed choices to protect themselves and others in their community.
