Birangana and Birpurush Award 2020

Smt. Ananya Chakraborti, Honb’le Chairperson of West Bengal Commission for Protection of Child Rights (WBCPCR) felicitated Parvez Sawan Hossain from Basirhat Block 1 with the Bravery award 2020, Birpurush title and Laxmi Biswas from Canning, South 24 parganas with the Bravery award 2020 of Birangana title on the occasion of International Child Rights Day held on 20th of November 2020 at Rabindra Sadan, Kolkata. KMWSC very own brave and courageous young man Parvez from the region of Basirhat block 1 under Child Rights Project and courageous girl Laxmi Biswas from the intervention area (Canning I) under Anti- Human Trafficking Project have been nominated for the respective awards. Parvez, the pride of Kolkata Mary Ward Social Centre received this prestigious award for being a Good Samaritan and a helping Child club leader. He has not only taken courageous steps to help his fellow friends by contributing towards the development of his community rather he has given recognition to his community.
