Child rights team conducted the annual Anganwadi meeting for enrolment of ICDS at Itinda GP, Basirhat block 1. The team enquired on the issues related to child rights, child labour, rescued cases and on the establishment and requirement of village level child protection committee (VLCPC) and on village education committee(VEC) to the Secretary, Pradhan- Mr. Chinmoy Sarkar and Panchayat Raj members. He also inaugurated the Child Rights banner on "Stop child labour" in front of the panchayats office.
