On 8th February 2018, Kolkata Mary Ward Social Centre organized Community Awareness campaign on Anti-human Trafficking Initiative under “Sensitization on Anti-Human Trafficking Project”.
Approx 80 community people from different women’s self-help group, local clubs, panchayat member participated in the campaign. They have been sensitized on present trends of human trafficking and how the local agents are trapping the innocent girls. The role of childline (1098) and local police station also shared with the community.
